Welcome to Udaya

"Udaya" in Sanskrit is pronounced as "oo-DUH-yuh" (उदय).

It means the first light of morning or sunrise.

When we move, we ignite the energy in the body, which warms up and brings new vitality to all body systems, and most of all, brings light to the mind.

Hi, I'm Ayelet – a twin mum, wife and wellness practitioner. Since 2015, I've been teaching Pilates and Yoga, and since 2022, I've been offering Shiatsu treatments.

I warmly welcome you to my home studio in Pegeia, Cyprus. Here, I offer both group and private classes in yoga and Pilates, as well as Shiatsu therapy sessions. My mission is to guide you through movements that release tension, build strength, and promote healing for both body and mind.

Classes

Welcome to my studio, where I offer a diverse range of mindful movement practices tailored to your individual journey: from the dynamic flows of Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga to the nurturing approach of Women's Yoga, the wisdom-based practice of Vijnana Yoga, and the precise strengthening work of Pilates.

All classes and treatments

Yoga Open Class

I practice and teach Vinyasa, Ashtanga yoga and Women's Yoga. incorporating dynamic poses from K. Pattabhi Jois's Ashtanga series. We also host Vijnana Yoga classes with Karin. 

 Each 75-90 minute class flows through synchronized breath and movement, including meditative sequences like the 'sun salutation.'

This practice helps cultivate both physical strength and mental clarity.

Pilates Open Class

Experience the classical exercises of Joseph Pilates's method in a structured, progressive format.

Classes accommodate various skill levels whilst maintaining precision in execution.

The method emphasises core stability, proper breathing techniques, and the harmonious coordination of movement.

Through consistent practice, you'll develop strength, flexibility, and body awareness.

Private Classes

I offer personalised instruction for individuals or small groups, available either as regular sessions or for special events.

Private sessions allow for customised attention to your specific needs and goals.

When beneficial, I can integrate multiple modalities to create a comprehensive wellness experience.

Shiatsu  Treatment

Shiatsu is a therapeutic approach rooted in Japanese tradition and Chinese medicine philosophy.

This gentle yet powerful healing art works with the body's meridians – energy channels connected to internal organs through which chi (life force) flows. When these energy pathways become blocked or imbalanced, physical or emotional discomfort may arise.

 

During the session, I employ various techniques including precise pressure application, joint mobilization, and gentle stretching to promote smooth energy flow throughout your body.

The treatment aims to activate your body's innate healing wisdom, guiding your body to a state of balance, vitality, and deep relaxation.
